so as of today i have completed all 23 pages of A Salt n Battery, to my liking. i had to redo a page and add a few pages. overall i think the finished product will be quite dope! the comic book will be a full 32 pages, 23 pages of story and the rest will be sketches, page concepts and character designs. issue 0 will be printed in black and white pencils with hopes that issue 1 will be color or at the very least grey scales. i'd like to generate some buzz with these guys with hopes of taking to kickstarter for second time. for my fans who have stuck with me, i appreciate it. hopefully the wait will be worth it.

i recently started adding pictures of cupcakes and cakes. They were baked by my wife and decorated n painted by the both of us. we make an awesome team and we do look forward to producing many many more creations. We sincerely appreciate the watches and favourites. it is truly an honor. stay tuned for more cakes and cupcakes.

A Salt n Battery is still coming! Just had to get that out.

Now with that said its going to take a ill longer than I planned. You see originally I was gonna just write and pencil the book. No inks, just pencil. As I completed all of the pages I realized that as nice as I thought the pencils would be, I could also see how some people wouldnt think it was so nice. Primarily because I'm telling the story of a salt shaker and a 9 volt battery. So I was fortunate to get an ipad2 for Xmas. I found a few drawing apps and started to experiment in order to find the right one or should I say the one that felt best. I started messing around with digital inks and that's where we are. I couldn't just try and sell the comic with just pencils I had to add something more and so I decided I'd have to do the entire issue with digital inks. It's a learning process but one that i welcome. With that said I've released the pencils for the first 11 pages. Ive withheld the last 13 or so pages only because I want to leave a surprise or 2 for the actual comic. I anticipate the first issue to be released by May 2012. I'll have some exclusive ashcans available at select comic book stores In Feb and March as a teaser of sorts but the full issue will be standard comic book size.

I will also be taking to kickstarter.com in the next few months in an effort to obtain backers for my comic.

I will do everything in my power to make this comic book as special and as unique as possible.
